Transcontinental publishes from coast to coast. The company is the largest printer in Canada, and the fourth-largest in North America. It prints items such as books, catalogs, directories, consumer magazines, and other documents from more than 30 plants. Transcontinental also publishes newspapers and magazines, including sports ("The Hockey News"), consumer ("Canadian Living"), and business ("Les Affaires") titles; offers multimedia production services; and delivers content through more than 250 websites. Transcontinental became the largest printer in Canada in 2007 after buying PLM Group, Canada's fourth-largest commercial printer, for about C$130 million (or about $134 million).
