- Brookfield India Real Estate Trust has raised Rs 3,500 crore (around $415 million) through a qualified institutional placement (QIP) of units to reduce debt.

- Distribution of income to unitholders in four listed Real Estate Investment Trusts rose 14% annually to Rs 2,754 crore in the first six months of this fiscal.
- The four REITs are Brookfield India Real Estate Trust, Embassy Office Parks REIT, Mindspace Business Parks REIT, and Nexus Select Trust.
- The REITs distributed over Rs 1,383 crore in the second quarter and over Rs 1,371 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal to their unitholders.
- The Indian REIT market manages assets worth over Rs 1,52,000 crore.
