GMR Group Secures Rs 6,300 Crore Investment From ADIA To Reduce Debt
- GMR Group has received a Rs 6,300 crore investment from Abu Dhabi's sovereign wealth fund, ADIA.
- The funds will be used to reduce the debt of GMR Enterprises Pvt Ltd, a promoter group entity.
- The investment will result in reducing share pledges and refinancing risk for GMR Enterprises Pvt Ltd.
- GMR Group operates airports in India, Philippines, and Indonesia.

Green sea turtle gets relief from “bubble butt” syndrome thanks to 3D printing
- Charlotte, a green sea turtle, developed a floating syndrome known as "bubble butt" after being hit by a boat in 2008.
- Most sea turtles with this condition die at sea, but Charlotte was rescued and brought to Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut.
- A collaboration between Adia, Formlabs, and New Balance used 3D printing to create a custom weight system for Charlotte, allowing it to dive and avoid predators.
- The weight system helps regulate the turtle's buoyancy by allowing it to rest at the sea floor or float at a chosen depth.

A wounded sea turtle swims again thanks to 3D printed harness
- A green sea turtle named Charlotte, who was paralyzed due to a boat accident in 2008, has regained the ability to swim thanks to a 3D printed harness.
- Connecticut's Mystic Aquarium, along with 3D printing companies Adia and Formlabs, collaborated to develop a harness for Charlotte.
- The harness, created using 3D scanning and SLS 3D printers, helps Charlotte adjust her buoyancy as air bubbles shift.
- The successful creation of the harness has led to a call for volunteers in 3D printing, computational design, and materials science to help with future harnesses.

ADIA plans to exit Mindspace REIT via block deal
- ADIA, the sovereign wealth fund, is planning to exit Mindspace REIT through a block deal.
- The floor price of the block is likely to be ₹350 per unit, a discount to the closing price of ₹363.92 per unit on the BSE.
- ADIA had acquired the stake in 2022 from Blackstone for ₹1,740 crore, and will make an absolute return of a little over 9% in two years.
- The units of Mindspace REIT hit a 52-week high of ₹384.99 on November 12 and ended the half-year with a leasable area of 34.7 million square feet and 91.7% committed occupancy.
