Lead - Retention & Wallet Share - Credit Card Business (7-12 yrs)

We are seeking a motivated business professional to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of programs aimed at enhancing customer engagement, loyalty, and retention for our credit card business. This individual will collaborate closely with colleagues to drive and implement customer segmentation, marketing campaigns, customer treatment strategies, and account management programs that deliver positive net present value (NPV) impacts for the credit card profit and loss (P&L) statement.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct customer segmentation analysis and develop effective marketing and retention strategies to stimulate credit card usage.
- Create marketing campaigns and partnership programs to enhance customer engagement, as measured by incremental, NPV-positive purchase volume, revolving balances, and revenue growth.
- Manage the rewards and offers a program to ensure competitive and appealing offers and experiences while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and raise awareness of business performance on key metrics, providing explanations and insights regarding trends, along with expert opinions on forecasted performance.
- Understand drivers of P&L performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Utilize data to uncover trends and insights that impact success; report on key metrics and optimize engagement, retention, and loyalty programs.
- Stay informed about new trends and competitive best practices; apply them as appropriate.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners to ensure smooth execution of marketing programs.
Qualifications: Education:- Master's Degree in Business or a related field.
Experience:
- Over 7 years of experience in product strategy, analytics, or marketing within consumer credit card companies or large direct-to-consumer (D2C) internet companies.
- Proven experience in ideating, incubating, and launching retention and wallet share initiatives and experiments in collaboration with various stakeholders in the organization.
Technical Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with extensive knowledge of reporting and analytical tools to leverage both quantitative and qualitative insights for decision-making.
- Solid marketing expertise with experience in executing successful campaigns targeting diverse customer segments.
- Experience in developing and implementing experiments and programs to increase engagement on D2C customer applications, positively impacting both top-line and bottom-line results.
- Proficient in MS Office, data interpretation and analysis, stakeholder management, and partnership and alliance management.

- Ability to plan, organize, and schedule efficiently; prioritize key tasks while managing time effectively.
- Empathy to deeply understand the voice of the customer.
