Civil Structural Engineer/Civil Engineer-EPC/EPCM/Chemical/Oil& Gas

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer with 2-10 years of experience in detailed design engineering within the fertilizer and chemical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and managing civil and structural engineering projects while ensuring technical excellence and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Detailed Design and Engineering:

• Develop detailed civil and structural designs, including foundations, steel structures, roads, and drainage systems.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with international codes (ACI, AISC, ASCE, IS codes).
• Apply specialized knowledge in the fertilizer and chemical industry, focusing on specific process plant requirements, including heavy equipment foundations, pipe racks, and dynamic loading conditions.

2. Project Management:

• Lead civil engineering aspects of multidisciplinary projects from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with project managers, process engineers, and construction teams.

3. Technical Documentation:

Review and approve design documents, including drawings, material take-offs, and technical reports.

• Prepare design basis reports, calculation summaries, and method statements.

4. Site and Construction Support: Provide technical support during construction, addressing design changes and resolving on-site issues.

• Conduct site inspections to ensure design implementation aligns with project requirements.
• Ensure familiarity with site-specific issues such as chemical spillage control and containment structures.

5. Quality and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Conduct design reviews and participate in project audits.

Education:

Bachelors or masters degree in civil engineering or Structural Engineering.

Experience:

• 2-10 years of detailed design engineering experience in the fertilizer and chemical industry (Mandatory).
