Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to design, implement, and manage WordPress sites for our clients. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of front-end and back-end WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization, performance optimization, and security best practices. You will work closely with our design and development teams to deliver seamless, high-quality WordPress websites.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.

- Customize and extend WordPress themes to meet the specific needs of the client.

- Integrate third-party APIs, eCommerce platforms (WooCommerce), and external services into WordPress sites.

- Implement responsive, mobile-first designs for all projects.

- Optimize WordPress websites for speed, performance, and security.

- Conduct routine updates, backups, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth site operation.

- Debug and resolve issues with WordPress core, themes, and plugins.

- Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility.

- Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, best practices, and technologies.

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and project managers to ensure project goals are met.

- Conduct code reviews, testing, and documentation for all work.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 4-6 years of proven experience in WordPress development.

- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and MySQL.

- Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.

- Familiarity with WordPress REST API and how to create custom API endpoints.

- Solid understanding of the WordPress hook system (actions and filters).

- Knowledge of common WordPress vulnerabilities and security practices.

- Hands-on experience with performance optimization techniques such as caching, CDNs, and lazy loading.

- Experience with version control systems (Git) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).

- Proficiency in front-end frameworks like Bootstrap and experience with responsive web design.

- Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to WordPress development.

- Familiarity with page builders (Elementor, Divi) and block editor (Gutenberg) customization.

- Knowledge of WooCommerce, multisite, and multi-language setups is a plus.
