Job Description :

We are looking for a talented WordPress Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our WordPress website and marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will regularly create blog posts and update website pages, ensuring an engaging design and a seamless user experience.

You will also troubleshoot and resolve UI issues, applying web development best practices to enhance site performance and usability. Collaboration with our content and design teams will be crucial to ensure that all updates align with our brand standards and contribute to a positive user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Update and maintain website pages, ensuring content is current and accurately reflects our brand.

- Create new blog pages and implement SEO best practices to enhance visibility and engagement.

- Identify and troubleshoot UI issues, implementing solutions to enhance user experience and functionality.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, content, and marketing, to ensure cohesive and visually appealing web pages.

- Conduct routine site audits, performing necessary updates to plugins, themes, and the WordPress core for optimal performance.

- Build microsites for marketing campaigns using a JavaScript framework.

- Create and format newsletters according to the designs provided, ensuring consistency with our brand guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in web development.

- Proficient in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites.

- Strong knowledge of PHP and a solid understanding of WordPress core, themes, and plugins.

- Experience with WordPress site migrations, installations, and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with MySQL database management and knowledge of WordPress database structure.

- Familiarity with wordpress security practices and performance optimization.

- Proficient in HTML5 and CSS3 for structuring and styling web pages.

- Strong knowledge of at least one CSS framework (such as Bootstrap) for responsive design and layout.

- Skilled in JavaScript for enhancing user interactions and dynamic content.

- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js) is a plus for creating dynamic web applications.

- Ability to consume and integrate REST APIs effectively.

- Strong debugging skills and experience using Chrome DevTools to troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues.

- Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices for enhancing website visibility and performance.

- Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git, for managing source code and collaboration.
