NextRow Digital - Wordpress Developer - Javascript/PHP (5-7 yrs)

Role Overview :

We're seeking a passionate and skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of WordPress development best practices, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to produce high-quality websites. This role requires someone who can collaborate with our design and marketing teams to bring visually appealing and functional web projects to life.

Key Responsibilities :

- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.

- Designing and implementing new features and functionality for our WordPress website(s).

- Establishing and guiding the website's architecture.

- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.

- Collaborating with designers to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to WordPress websites.

- Ensuring website backup and security measures are effectively in place.

- Keeping up-to-date with the latest web technologies and best practices in WordPress development.

- Providing timely support to end-users and stakeholders.

- Leading the effort to migrate websites to WordPress when necessary.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.

- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.

- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.

- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.

- Familiarity with MySQL and relational database management.

- Experience with WordPress themes and plugins, such as Elementor, WooCommerce, WPBakery, etc.

- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).

- Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.

- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

- Knowledge of website performance optimization.

Desirable (but Not Essential) :

- Experience with other CMS platforms.

- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

- SEO knowledge and integration experience.

- Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, etc.
