Entry Meteorologist at ZeroNorth
As we embark on our next phase of growth in ZeroNorth, we are looking for a high performing individual working with weather routing or is open to fresh talent with sound meteorological knowledge.
Key responsibilities:
In this role you will be a super user and expert in providing guidance and insights to stakeholders inside and outside of ZeroNorth.

Key responsibilities:
In this role you will be a super user and expert in providing guidance and insights to stakeholders inside and outside of ZeroNorth.
- Work in a team of Senior Marine Experts and Meteorologists providing weather advice to internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and engage with our customers to ensure that weather safety is an integral part of vessel s routes and monitor weather safety of vessels throughout their voyages at sea.
- Engage directly with customers ashore and onboard crew for guidance on matters of weather safe routing.
- Give feedback and input to Product and Technology on how to improve our weather routing solutions and services
Your profile:

- Good understanding of NWP models and ability to interpret observations and NWP outputs.
- The ability to do nowcasting.
- Have interest in marine weather forecasting or other weather related fields.
- Knowledge of different geographical regions weather patterns.
- Ability to create weather forecast narrative and brief this to customers.
- Further you are structured, strategic and very communicative, being able to inspire your team.
