Role Purpose:
This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the HRO function, including payroll, retirals, statutory compliances, employee master data management, full & final settlements, group-level insurance, NPS, and other allied services. The position will also drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency within the HRO function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll & Compliance Management: Ensure accurate payroll processing for employees across the organization while maintaining adherence to statutory compliances, tax laws, and audit requirements.
- Operational Excellence & Transformation: Implement best practices, digital solutions, and process improvements to optimize payroll and HR operations.
- Audit & Risk Management: Oversee internal and external audits, address observations, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Corporate HR, Plant HR Heads, Finance, and Commercial teams to maintain seamless HRO operations.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Develop MIS reports, dashboards, and performance reviews for management insights.
- People & Resource Management: Plan capacity utilization, manage teams effectively, and develop leadership succession plans within the HRO function.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's Degree (MBA/PG in HR or related field)
- 15+ years of experience managing Payroll & Retirals in large conglomerates
- Strong expertise in Indian Tax Laws, Statutory Compliances, and Payroll Practices
- Hands-on experience with SAP, HRMS tools, and dashboard reporting
