Senior Human Resource Generalist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist with 5-10 years of comprehensive HR experience. This role involves overseeing various HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, employee grievances, performance reviews, legal compliance, and managing HR operations for both domestic and US-based employees. The ideal candidate will be proactive, energetic, outgoing, and possess strong logical and analytical thinking abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the recruitment process for both domestic and US-based positions, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure a smooth hiring process.
• Manage the onboarding process, ensure new employees are properly integrated into the company and understand HR policies, benefits, and expectations.
• Organize and lead the annual performance review process, providing feedback, goal setting, and development planning.
• Identify training needs and coordinate relevant programs to support employee development and align with organizational goals.
• Manage and lead Townhall meetings, addressing large gatherings and ensuring effective communication with employees.
• Address employee grievances promptly, maintaining an open-door policy to foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation between employees and management to maintain harmony.
• Represent HR during client visits and meetings, ensuring smooth communication and relationship-building.
• Oversee and process employee leave requests, compensatory off, overtime, and shift allowances, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and process payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws, and collaborate with the Accounts team to address discrepancies.
• Manage employee benefits such as Provident Fund (PF), health insurance, and other perks, ensuring timely processing and communication.
• Issue Form 16 to employees, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
• Organize quarterly performance reviews, providing constructive feedback to employees and managers to enhance performance.
• Lead the annual appraisal process, ensuring fair evaluations and facilitating the goal-setting process.
• Oversee the exit process for departing employees, ensuring compliance with company policies, conducting exit interviews, and documenting feedback.
• Regularly update the HR handbook and policies, ensuring employees are informed about new or changed policies.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, providing guidance to employees and management as needed.
• Prepare organizational utilization and management reports for stakeholders to track HR metrics and progress.
• Manage employee reimbursements, ensuring timely processing and compliance with company financial regulations.
• Coordinate health check-ups and employee wellness programs, ensuring employees are supported in their health and well-being.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5 - 10 years of experience in a senior HR role with in-depth knowledge of HR functions and labor laws.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office tools and HR software.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree in HR or a related field.
