Job Description

Job Title: PMO Analyst/Senior Analyst (Banking Domain) Location: Bangalore, India Experience: 5-7 About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced PMO Analyst/Senior Analyst to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting and improving the efficiency of our project delivery within the banking sector. You will be responsible for maintaining project documentation, tracking progress, managing risks and issues, and ensuring adherence to our project management methodologies. Your expertise in the banking domain will be essential in understanding the nuances of our projects and contributing effectively to their success. Responsibilities: Project Support:

Assist project managers in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Track project progress and performance against established baselines.
Facilitate project meetings, document minutes, and track action items.
Maintain project documentation in accordance with PMO standards.
Provide administrative support to project teams, including scheduling resources, coordinating logistics, and managing communication

Risk and Issue Management:

- Identify, analyze, and document project risks and issues.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies.
- Escalate risks and issues to appropriate stakeholders as needed.
- Track and monitor the resolution of risks and issues.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular project status reports for management.
- Analyze project data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare presentations and dashboards to communicate project information effectively.
Process Improvement:
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes and methodologies.
- Identify and implement best practices in project management.
- Develop and deliver training on PMO tools and templates.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, management, and clients.
- Facilitate collaboration and cooperation among stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Essential:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
- 5-7 years of experience in a PMO role, specifically within the banking industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
- Experience in working with global teams.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
