Job summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead the promotion of our cutting-edge computer science curriculum, textbooks, and science kits in the K12 educational sector across India. This role involves strategizing and implementing effective sales plans, nurturing relationships with educational stakeholders, and driving our brand presence in the K12 market.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically promote our K12 computer science curriculum, textbooks, and science kits across Indian educational institutions.
  
• Build and maintain robust relationships with school administrators, educators, and decision-makers within the K12 sector.
  
• Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify new business opportunities and understand competitor activities.
  
• Actively participate in and represent the company at educational events, conferences, and seminars.
  
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop impactful promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the Indian market.
  
• Gather and report client feedback to inform product development and enhancement.
  
• Meet and exceed sales targets while contributing to the companys overall revenue objectives.
  
• Regularly update senior management on business development progress and market insights.
  

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  
• Proven track record in business development, sales, or marketing, specifically in the K12 education sector in India.
  
• Strong existing relationships with K12 schools and educational bodies in India.
  
• Experience in promoting concept-based educational products.
  
• A robust understanding of computer science and general science concepts.
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
