We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated ITSM Developer with 4-6 years of hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and supporting IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ITIL best practices, ITSM processes, and will be proficient in designing and developing automation workflows, integrations, and enhancements within ITSM platforms, such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or similar tools.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement solutions within the ITSM platform (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy) to automate workflows, processes, and service delivery.
- Build and maintain integrations between ITSM tools and other enterprise applications, leveraging REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
- Customize ITSM modules and forms, including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Service Catalog, according to business requirements.
- Apply ITIL best practices to improve ITSM processes, ensuring alignment with service management objectives.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting, resolving, and debugging issues related to ITSM applications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design, development, and test plans, in accordance with company standards.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and other development teams to ensure smooth delivery of ITSM solutions.
- Manage platform upgrades, patches, and versioning of ITSM applications to ensure security and functionality are up to date.
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that ITSM solutions meet business requirements and performance standards.
- Assist in training end-users and providing technical guidance on how to use ITSM solutions effectively.
Key Skills :
- Proficiency in developing and customizing ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy).
- Strong knowledge of web services (REST/SOAP), APIs, and integration patterns.
- Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, etc.) and ITSM tools' scripting engines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, databases (SQL), and other technologies relevant to ITSM implementations.
