ServiceNow development and support Consultant.

Experience Level : 2+ years experience in ServiceNow development.

Mandatory Skills : (Must Have Skills) : ServiceNow development, Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules and their functionality.

Roles & Responsibilities :


Assist system management team as ServiceNow development and support activities.

We are seeking a junior ServiceNow developer with ~2+ years of development experience who can work on standard catalog item creation and modification requests and also act as the first point of contact for all incidents assigned to ServiceNow ITSM team.

- Candidate will be responsible for creation/modification of catalog items, resolving easy incidents and assigning more complex incidents to the appropriate team based on the issue.

- A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of ServiceNow modules and their functionality, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Act as the first point of contact for all incidents across multiple ServiceNow modules.

- Resolve easy incidents and escalate more complex incidents to the appropriate team.

- Assign incidents to the correct team based on the issue.

- Communicate with users to gather additional information about incidents.

- Document incidents in ServiceNow and track progress until resolution.

- Identify trends and patterns in incidents and work with the appropriate teams to implement preventative measures.

- Provide regular reports on incident trends and resolutions to management.

- Continuously improve incident management processes and procedures.

- Create knowledge articles for known errors and faqs.

- Create or update catalog items and workflows.

- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 2+ years of experience in ServiceNow development experience.

- Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules and their functionality.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.

- Knowledge of ITIL best practices is a plus.
