Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in ITSM integration and proficiency in Flow Designer. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing ITSM solutions to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
ITSM Integration :
- Design, develop, and implement integrations between ITSM platforms and other systems or tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and ensure seamless data exchange.
Flow Designer Development :
- Create, configure, and optimize workflows using Flow Designer to automate ITSM processes.
- Ensure workflows align with business objectives and adhere to best practices.
System Configuration & Customization :
- Configure ITSM modules (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request).
- Develop custom scripts, business rules, and UI policies as needed.
Problem-Solving & Optimization :
- Analyze and resolve issues related to ITSM integrations and workflows.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and system performance.
Documentation & Support :
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for integrations and workflows.
- Provide support and training to end-users as required.
Qualifications and Skills :
Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) with hands-on experience in integration projects.
- Expertise in Flow Designer for workflow automation.
- Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, and XML for integration purposes.
- Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python.
Experience :
- 3 to 7 years of experience in ITSM development and integration.
- Proven track record of implementing successful ITSM integrations and automations.
Soft Skills :
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
- ITIL certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with additional ServiceNow features like Service Catalog, CMDB, or Reporting.
