Role & responsibilities

• Lead the development of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and projections. Ensure that financial goals are aligned with the hospital's overall strategy.
• Regularly analyze the hospitals financial performance, comparing actual results with budgets and forecasts, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Monitor cash flow to ensure the hospital has adequate liquidity for operations and growth.
• Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring the hospitals accounts are accurate and comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the timely filing of income tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, including TDS and transfer pricing regulations.
• Monitor and control hospital expenses, ensuring that expenditures are within approved budgets and justifiable.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve financial sustainability, growth, and profitability.
• Manage and mentor the finance and accounts team, ensuring that they are well-trained, motivated, and equipped to perform their duties efficiently.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Experience in Healthcare Finance.
• Strong Knowledge of Indian Taxation.
• Proficiency in analyzing financial data.
• Excellent communication skills.
