Summary:
- We are looking for a Bookkeeping Lead to join our growing team in Noida.
- This position is perfect for an experienced professional with 7-12 years in the field, particularly someone who has successfully managed a team of at least four.
- As the Bookkeeping Lead, you will play a pivotal role in refining our financial processes, overseeing accurate record-keeping, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing your team, driving efficiencies, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization as we continue to scale.
Principle responsibilities:.
- Oversee a team of Associates, Senior Associates, and Associate Team Leads handling daily bookkeeping tasks for Canadian clients, ensuring efficient work allocation and adherence to deadlines using Enkel's practice management system.
- Review month-end financial statement packages prepared by the team for accuracy and completeness, identifying exceptions and providing follow-up on issues.
- Maintain proactive communication regarding delivery schedules, ensuring that work is completed within budget and without delays in critical deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with the Canadian team to understand client requirements and deliverables while planning and tracking resource allocation based on budget and monthly schedules.
- Provide training and conduct monthly performance reviews for team members, assist in recruitment, manage client escalations, and ensure the team conducts root cause analysis on issues while preparing improvement plans.
Requirements:.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B. Com/M. Com) or an MBA with a focus on Finance.
- Team Oversight: Experience managing a team of Associates and Senior Associates in daily bookkeeping tasks for Canadian clients.
- Financial Review: Proficient in reviewing month-end financial statement packages for accuracy and completeness, identifying discrepancies.
- Deadline Management: Strong ability to ensure timely delivery of critical business milestones while adhering to budget constraints.
- Client Collaboration: Skilled in working closely with clients to understand specific requirements and deliverables, enhancing service quality.
- Training and Development: Experience in training team members, conducting performance reviews, and supporting recruitment efforts.
