Job Summary

As a Continuous Integration (CI) Engineer at Web Neural Infotech, you will specialize in designing, implementing, and maintaining continuous integration workflows to streamline software development and deployment processes. Your responsibilities include creating robust CI pipelines, automating builds and tests, and ensuring seamless collaboration between development and operations teams. This role plays a crucial part in supporting AI, ML, and Big Data-driven projects by enabling rapid and reliable delivery of applications.

This position is open to both freshers passionate about automation and experienced professionals eager to work on cutting-edge CI/CD technologies.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Pipeline Design : Develop, implement, and maintain CI pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or Bamboo.

Build Automation : Automate application builds, testing, and deployment processes to ensure efficient development workflows.

Integration Support : Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI processes into their workflows and troubleshoot issues.

Testing Automation : Implement automated testing frameworks to validate application builds at each stage of development.

Monitoring : Monitor pipeline performance and proactively resolve bottlenecks or errors.

Version Control Management : Set up and manage source control repositories using tools like Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub.

Tool Integration : Integrate CI pipelines with other tools, such as static code analysis tools, test management systems, and issue trackers.

Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation for pipelines, workflows, and troubleshooting procedures.

Security Compliance : Ensure secure build environments by implementing access controls, vulnerability scanning, and artifact encryption.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

CI Tools : Expertise in Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or Bamboo for creating and managing CI pipelines.
Scripting and Automation : Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Groovy for automating workflows.
Testing Frameworks : Familiarity with automated testing frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, or PyTest.
Version Control : Strong knowledge of Git and Git-based workflows, including branching and merging strategies.
Containerization : Experience with Docker for containerized application builds and deployment.
Build Tools : Proficiency in build automation tools like Maven, Gradle, or Ant.
Cloud Platforms : Familiarity with cloud CI tools such as AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps, or GCP Cloud Build.
Monitoring : Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools for CI pipelines, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.

Qualification & Experience Required

Education : Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.

Certifications (Preferred) :

Certifications such as Certified Jenkins Engineer , AWS Certified DevOps Engineer , or similar are a plus.

Experience :

Freshers with strong foundational knowledge in CI/CD concepts and hands-on experience in relevant projects are encouraged to apply.
1-3 years of experience in CI engineering or related roles is preferred.
