Job Summary

As a Build Engineer at Web Neural Infotech, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the build and release processes for software applications. Your role involves creating reliable and scalable build pipelines, automating build workflows, and ensuring smooth integration with CI/CD systems. You will work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to support AI, ML, and Big Data-driven projects by delivering efficient and error-free build environments.

This role is suitable for freshers with a strong passion for automation and build management and experienced professionals eager to work on cutting-edge technologies.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Build System Management : Design, implement, and maintain scalable build systems and pipelines for software projects.

Automation : Automate build processes using scripting languages and tools to improve efficiency and reliability.

CI/CD Integration : Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate build systems into continuous integration and delivery workflows.

Version Control : Manage and optimize source code repositories and branching strategies using Git or similar tools.

Dependency Management : Ensure proper management of dependencies, libraries, and third-party tools in build environments.

Error Troubleshooting : Debug and resolve issues in build processes, ensuring minimal disruptions to the development cycle.

Monitoring and Reporting : Monitor build performance and provide regular updates on build status and metrics.

Security Compliance : Enforce security measures in build environments, including code signing and access controls.

Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of build pipelines, processes, and configurations.

Collaboration : Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless build and deployment workflows.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Build Tools : Expertise in tools like Maven, Gradle, Ant, or MSBuild for managing builds.
CI/CD Systems : Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Bamboo, or CircleCI for integrating builds into delivery pipelines.
Version Control : Proficiency with Git, Bitbucket, or other version control systems, including branching strategies.
Scripting Skills : Knowledge of Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating build and release processes.
Dependency Management : Experience with package managers like npm, pip, or NuGet.
Containerization : Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for managing containerized builds.
Monitoring Tools : Proficiency in monitoring and reporting tools to track build system performance.
Troubleshooting : Strong debugging and problem-solving skills for resolving build-related issues.

Qualification & Experience Required

Education : Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
Certifications (Preferred) :
- Certifications such as Certified Jenkins Engineer , AWS Certified DevOps Engineer , or similar are a plus.
Experience :
- Freshers with strong foundational knowledge in build systems and hands-on project experience are encouraged to apply.
- 1-3 years of experience in build engineering or related roles is preferred.
