Job Summary

The BI (Business Intelligence) Solutions Architect plays a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across an organization. This role involves translating business needs into technical specifications, creating data models, and ensuring the efficient performance of BI systems. The ideal candidate combines expertise in data analytics, visualization tools, and system integration with strong problem-solving skills and strategic vision.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.

Design and develop data models, ETL processes, and data warehouses to support analytics and reporting.

Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide actionable insights.

Lead the architecture and development of BI platforms, ensuring their reliability, scalability, and security.

Define and implement data governance practices to ensure data integrity and compliance.

Integrate BI tools with various enterprise systems, databases, and APIs.

Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshooting technical issues as needed.

Train and mentor team members and end-users on BI tools and best practices.

Stay updated on emerging BI technologies and trends, proposing innovative solutions to enhance business outcomes.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.

Expertise in SQL and database technologies (e. g. , MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server).

Strong experience with ETL tools and processes (e. g. , Informatica, Talend, or SSIS).

In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.

Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or Java for data manipulation and analysis.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data storage and analytics.

Understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Qualification & Experience Required

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in BI development, data analytics, or a similar role.
Proven track record of architecting and implementing successful BI solutions.
Certifications in BI tools or cloud platforms (e. g. , Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, AWS Certified Data Analytics) are a plus.
