Job Summary

As a Big Data Engineer at WN Infotech, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the company's big data infrastructure. You will work closely with the data science team to build scalable data solutions that support business objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the growth and success of the organization.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain big data solutions that meet business requirements.
Collaborate with data scientists to understand data requirements and design efficient data models and pipelines.
Implement data ingestion, processing, and storage solutions using big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
Optimize and tune big data applications for performance and scalability.
Troubleshoot and debug issues with big data infrastructure and applications.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in big data and recommend new tools and techniques to improve data processing efficiency.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Scala, or Python.
Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and HDFS.
Knowledge of distributed computing principles and parallel processing techniques.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as HBase, Cassandra, or MongoDB.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualification & Experience Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience working as a big data engineer or a similar role.
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and HDFS.
Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, or Python.
Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
