Job Description

Job Summary

As a Mobile App Quality Assurance (QA) Tester at Web Neural Infotech, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile applications by identifying bugs, improving performance, and verifying that features meet user expectations. You will be responsible for testing mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms, documenting defects, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues.

This position is open to both freshers with strong analytical skills and experienced QA professionals eager to contribute to building innovative, error-free mobile applications in a dynamic environment.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Test Planning : Design and document test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile applications.

Manual Testing : Perform manual testing to identify bugs, UI/UX inconsistencies, and functional issues.

Automated Testing : Implement automated test scripts using tools like Appium, Selenium, or other relevant frameworks.

Cross-Platform Testing : Test mobile applications across multiple devices, screen resolutions, and operating system versions.

Performance Testing : Analyze app performance, responsiveness, and stability under different conditions.

Bug Reporting : Log detailed bug reports, prioritize issues, and track their resolution.

Regression Testing : Ensure that new updates or bug fixes do not impact existing functionality.

Collaboration : Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to address and resolve issues.

Documentation : Maintain detailed records of test results and share insights with stakeholders.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

testing Tools : Familiarity with tools like Appium, TestFlight, JIRA, Selenium, or BrowserStack.

Manual Testing : Strong understanding of manual testing techniques, including black-box and exploratory testing.

Automated Testing : Basic knowledge of scripting automated test cases in languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.

Mobile Platforms : Experience testing applications on both Android and iOS platforms.

Performance Analysis : Ability to test and analyze app performance under various scenarios.

Attention to Detail : Strong analytical skills to identify inconsistencies and potential issues.

Communication Skills : Ability to clearly document and communicate issues to cross-functional teams.

Qualification & Experience Required

Education : Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
Certifications (Preferred) :
- Certifications such as Certified Software Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Certified Tester are an advantage.
Experience :
- Freshers with a strong understanding of QA principles and mobile app testing are encouraged to apply.
- 1-3 years of experience in mobile app testing or software QA is preferred.
