Job Description

Job Summary

As a Quality Assurance Test Analyst at WN Infotech, youll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and ensuring that our software meets quality standards and user requirements. Youll collaborate closely with development teams to implement effective testing strategies and contribute to delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects, verify functionality, and assess software quality.
Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing to ensure that software meets quality standards and user expectations.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements, prioritize testing activities, and facilitate timely issue resolution.
Utilize testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JIRA, or TestRail to automate test cases and enhance testing efficiency.
Document and track defects, monitor their resolution, and verify fixes to ensure successful resolution and prevent regression issues.
Participate in team meetings, reviews, and retrospectives to provide input on testing strategies and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques, tools, and frameworks.
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or JUnit.
Knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or HP ALM.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and identify root causes effectively.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Qualification & Experience Required

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing, with at least 0 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices is preferred.
Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Foundation Level Certification in Software Testing would be advantageous.
