Job Description

Job Summary

As a Quality Assurance Test Lead/Manager at WN Infotech, youll be responsible for leading and managing the quality assurance efforts for our software projects. Your role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of testing activities to ensure that our products meet quality standards and exceed customer expectations. Youll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to establish testing processes, define strategies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of quality assurance testers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure efficient and effective testing operations.
Develop and implement test strategies, methodologies, and best practices to optimize testing processes and improve product quality.
Define test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on project requirements and specifications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Coordinate with project stakeholders to understand business objectives, prioritize testing activities, and manage expectations regarding quality and timelines.
Establish and maintain quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to track testing progress, identify trends, and communicate insights to stakeholders.
Collaborate with development teams to facilitate timely resolution of defects, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with project goals and milestones.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance, and advocate for their adoption within the organization.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
Proven experience in leading and managing quality assurance teams in a software development environment.
Expertise in test planning, test case design, and test execution across functional, regression, and performance testing.
Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, or TestComplete.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and achieving quality objectives.

Qualification & Experience Required

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 0 to 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing, with demonstrated progression into leadership roles.
Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering quality assurance initiatives for complex software projects.
Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level Certification in Test Management or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be advantageous.
