General Manager - Quality (20-25 yrs)

This position is to ensure improved product quality, adherence to best practices, reduction of systemic incidents, increased efficiency and productivity, and compliance with regulatory standards. He will lead and manage the quality assurance and control team towards achieving goals of the organization.

KRA :

- Quality Management: Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards, ensuring that the Quality Management System (QMS) is implemented and maintained throughout the plant. Work closely with Manufacturing, R&D and Services to align quality function vis a vis customer demand ensuring optimal quality levels of inventory.

- Quality Engineering: Manage Quality Engineers responsible for ensuring that quality standards are met during the product development process. Provide guidance and support to Quality Engineers, ensuring they effectively carry out their roles. Establish quality standards and goals for the product development process.

- Strategic Initiatives: Facilitate collaboration between quality assurance/Technical head and research & development to enable standardization across plants. Merge quality assurance at all levels across auto/industrial to create a unified and efficient system, thereby promoting fDeep knowledge of end-to-end operations in the automotive industry, with a focus on quality assurance and control, including understanding of quality management systems, quality engineering, and operations quality management.

Knowledge /Expertise :

- Ability to effectively lead and manage a team, communicate with different stakeholders, and build strong relationships within and outside the organization

- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans for the quality assurance and control functions, and lead the team towards achieving these plans.

- The candidate should be B.E /B.Tech and Masters in Quality Management (preferred)having at least 20-25 years of Experience in manufacturing industry, with a focus on quality assurance and control

- Experience in leading a plant's quality assurance and control function is a must
