Sales & Business Development Leader

Business Development :

• Ownership of business development activities like prospect hunting, cold calling, setting up meetings, customer presentation.
• Hunting new prospects through internal marketing tools, past contacts, LinkedIn, secondary research, etc.
• New Client Acquisition across sectors such as FMCG, Alco-Bev, E-Commerce, OTT/Media, Automobile, EduTech, etc.
• Attending industry forums and events to build networking & generating leads
• Organizing webinars with industry leaders.

Proposal Building

• Writing research proposals, use cases, case studies, etc. and presenting the same to the clients
• Responsible for Price Negotiation & Request for Quotation

CRM

• Maintaining the record of leads, calls made, proposal sent, etc. on the CRM platforms

Account Management

• Farming existing client accounts and Upsell & Cross sell new services to generate new business on regular basis
• Regular follow-ups on PO, payments, new business opportunities, etc.

Internal & external coordination

• Manage & maintain relationships by communicating with customers, vendors, Internal & external teams
• Following up with clients on project renewals and build customer centric relationships
• Cost negotiations with vendors and maintain good rapport with them

Requirements:

Must Have

1. Minimum 5+ years of experience in research industry
2. Experience in Sales & Business development
3. Past record of developing new business and increasing the account size
4. Ownership of business targets and delivering the same
5. Client servicing and coordinating with multiple teams (such as Product Team, Research team, Marketing team, etc.)
6. Very good communication skills, work independently with minimal supervision, confident and creating a positive working environment.

Good to have

1. Experience in Online research industry

2. Experience of working with both domestic & international clients

3. Experience of networking & promotion at various industry forums and events
