About the Role:
Role: Compliance Manager
- Why is it required (need for the role)- An HR Compliance Manager is essential for ensuring adherence to labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies, thereby mitigating legal risks and fostering a compliant workplace.
- This role involves implementing and auditing HR policies, ensuring fair employee relations, and maintaining ethical workplace standards.
- It also oversees payroll and benefits compliance, manages data privacy and legal documentation, and ensures diversity and inclusion in hiring practices.
- Additionally, the HR Compliance Manager liaises with legal teams and regulatory authorities to handle compliance issues, making this role crucial for maintaining legal integrity, reducing risks, and ensuring a structured HR framework.
Essential Experience:
- 10-15 yrs of Exp in managing HR operations
- 5 yrs of experience in managing compliance for an employee base of 1000+ employees
- Experience in handling PAN India/State level/Haryana compliance
- Understanding of labor laws : Extensive knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and compliance frameworks (e.g., PF, ESI, POSH, GDPR, etc.).
What are the key skills required for the role:
Functional Skills:
- HR Operations Management: 10-15 years of experience indicate a need for strong HR generalist skills beyond just compliance.
- Compliance Management (1000+ employees): This is a core requirement, Minimum 5 years of experience in handling compliance
- Pan-India/State Level/Haryana Compliance: Experience managing compliance across different jurisdictions is critical, especially familiarity with Haryana-specific regulations.
- Labor Law Expertise: Extensive knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and compliance frameworks (PF, ESI, POSH, GDPR, etc.) is essential.
