• Oversee the smooth functioning of all departments, including editorial, production, and technical teams.
• Ensure timely news broadcasting and content delivery across all platforms (TV, digital, and social media).
• Monitor workflows to ensure compliance with deadlines and quality standards.

2. Resource Allocation

• Manage and allocate resources like manpower, equipment, and technology to maximize productivity.
• Ensure availability and maintenance of technical equipment such as cameras, editing systems, and broadcasting tools.

3. Team Supervision

• Lead and coordinate with reporters, editors, and production teams to ensure operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular team meetings to address challenges and strategize solutions.
• Provide training and mentorship to enhance team performance.

4. Crisis Management

• Handle operational issues such as equipment failure, scheduling conflicts, or breaking news coverage to minimize disruptions.
• Develop contingency plans to address emergencies.

5. Vendor and Partner Management

• Coordinate with external vendors for technical support, equipment procurement, and other operational needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with third-party service providers.

6. Compliance and Reporting

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and legal requirements specific to media and broadcasting in India.
• Prepare regular reports on operational performance and submit them to senior management.

7. Budget Management

• Monitor operational budgets to control costs without compromising efficiency.
• Evaluate expenses related to equipment, manpower, and logistics.

8. Technology Integration

• Stay updated on the latest technologies in broadcasting and implement them to improve efficiency.
• Oversee the integration of software and systems for newsroom automation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Media Management, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in media operations, preferably in a news channel.
• Familiarity with compliance regulations and broadcasting standards in India.
• Knowledge of Hindi and local languages for effective communication.
