Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Product Promotion

    • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote industrial pipe products (e.g., steel pipes, stainless steel pipes, HDPE pipes, and carbon steel pipes) to key industries such as Government, oil & gas, petrochemical, water treatment, and construction.
    • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to highlight the technical specifications, benefits, and value propositions of industrial pipes.
  1. Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
    • Gather and analyze customer feedback and competitive intelligence to shape product positioning, pricing, and marketing campaigns.
  2. Sales Support and Lead Generation:
    • Support the sales team by providing marketing materials, product data, and client insights.
    • Generate new leads and sales opportunities by identifying potential industrial clients, including contractors, distributors, and project managers.
    • Assist in the negotiation and closing of large-scale contracts and sales agreements.
  3. Brand and Product Positioning:
    • Develop marketing campaigns that emphasize the durability, safety, and efficiency of industrial pipes.
    • Coordinate branding efforts to ensure the companys pipe products are well-positioned as high-quality and reliable solutions for industrial applications.
  4. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in industrial sectors.
    • Provide ongoing support and communication to ensure customer satisfaction, address concerns, and promote repeat business.
    • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings to build the brand and stay connected with industry professionals.
  5. Technical Expertise and Training:
    • Maintain a deep understanding of industrial pipe products, including material properties, industry standards, and applicable regulations.
    • Offer training sessions for clients on the proper selection, installation, and maintenance of industrial pipes.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical product features and communicate them effectively to customers.
  6. Marketing Materials and Campaigns:
    • Develop and manage technical marketing materials, including brochures, datasheets, product catalogs, and case studies.
    • Create digital and print campaigns targeting industrial decision-makers, highlighting the performance, cost-effectiveness, and safety of the company’s pipe solutions.
  7. Analytics and Reporting:
    • Track the performance of marketing campaigns and sales initiatives through key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Provide regular reports to senior management on marketing performance, customer feedback, and sales results.
    • Assess the return on investment (ROI) for various marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  8. Cross-Department Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the sales, product development, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless product delivery and client satisfaction.
    • Provide input into product development based on customer feedback, market research, and industry trends.

Work Environment:

  • Fieldwork, including site visits to industrial plants, factories, construction sites, and client meetings.
  • Office-based work for strategic planning, marketing coordination, and reporting.

Travel may be required to attend trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.


Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial pipe products and their applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to industrial markets.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities.
  • Customer-focused, with an understanding of B2B sales processes and client relationship management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Prior experience in marketing, sales, or business development within the industrial, manufacturing, or construction sectors.
  • Knowledge of industrial pipe products and applications, including materials, standards, and industry regulations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with CRM software, digital marketing tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and customer insights.
