Senior Software Engineer –Pega Support and Build/Deployment Management

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Pega Support and Build/Deployment Management

In this role, you will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum Technology Experience: 4 years
• Minimum years of Pega experience: 1 years
• Skill Sets: Pega 8.X, HTML5, Core Java, CSS, Java Script
• Experience with Monitoring/Logging tools: Splunk, Pega Diagnostic Cloud (PDC), Grafana, Cloud technology

Job Expectations:

• Support build and deployment processes using Pega Deployment Manager
• Document Detailed Production Deployment Gameplans, that include Backouts and Recovery Plans
• Manage deployments and Pega Rule versions, ensuring process steps are adhered to
• Maintain documentation around key deployment processes, How-tos and support practices
• Provide application monitoring for post publishing and technical release deployments
• Triage Pega technical issues and failures
• Support application compliance related requests
• Work with Pega on Infrastructure updates and patches to ensure application stability
• Research Pega Performance issues and perform recommended tuning activities.
• Perform hands on recovery activities when production issues occur
• Log and monitor application incidents
• Help maintain and capture key production metrics using Dashboards such as Grafana
• Knowledge and exposure to AI/ML
