Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Team Lead & Individual Contributor to play a dual role in driving revenue and managing a team of inside sales representatives. In this role, you will personally engage with high-priority leads, close deals, and build lasting relationships with key clients, while also leading and mentoring your team to exceed collective and individual sales targets. You will drive performance through clear goal-setting, regular training, and performance tracking, ensuring that your team delivers exceptional results and maintains a client-first culture.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Generation & Client Engagement:
    • Personally engage with high-priority leads, close deals, and drive revenue growth.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term retention.
    • Manage the full sales cycle for individual accounts, including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship:
    • Lead, mentor, and support a team of inside sales representatives, guiding them to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Set clear performance goals for each team member and track progress against KPIs such as call activity, conversion rates, and revenue generation.
    • Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to ensure continuous development and performance improvement.
  • Sales Strategy & Performance Management:
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
    • Leverage company data and lead generation channels to optimize sales efforts and drive results.
    • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities and growth areas.
  • Lead Distribution & Follow-up:
    • Oversee the distribution and prioritization of leads among team members to ensure maximum coverage and lead conversion.
    • Ensure timely and effective follow-up on all leads, maximizing conversion rates and closing deals.
  • Sales Tracking & Reporting:
    • Track and analyze both personal and team sales performance, identifying successes and areas for improvement.
    • Prepare detailed sales reports and insights for senior management, outlining key metrics and progress toward targets.
  • Client Issue Resolution & Service Excellence:
    • Act as a point of escalation for client issues, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
    • Promote a client-first culture within the team, emphasizing exceptional service and proactive relationship management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, with a track record of closing deals and driving revenue.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or team management role, with the ability to mentor and motivate a sales team.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, including prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and closing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer data to inform decision-making.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using CRM software and other sales tools to track performance and optimize efforts.
  • A passion for sales and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
