Field Officer

As a Field Officer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating agricultural development and enhancing agricultural productivity. Working closely with farmers, you will provide valuable insights on modern farming techniques and promote sustainable farming practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of agriculture-related projects.
• Implement crop demonstrations, collect data from demo plots, and send it for further analysis as per project requirements.
• Conduct periodical farmer field schools and maintain records.
• Assist in data collection and analysis of various agricultural interventions and research studies.
• Prepare physical and financial reports for projects.
• Prepare reports and produce written outputs of implementation work and its outcomes.
• Support the conduct of trainings and development of manuals.
• Perform any other team responsibilities or duties as assigned from time to time.

You will report to the Project Manager.

• A B.Sc./M.Sc. with an agriculture-related specialization (preferably in Entomology, Agronomy, or Soil Science).
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Fluency in Marathi and Hindi.
• Good writing and communication skills in English (an advantage).
