Regional Security Operations Manager (RSOM) India

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Security Operations Manager (RSOM) to oversee and enhance our physical security operations across India. Based in Bangalore, this embedded role with one of our major MNC client, requires travel to our various facilities across the country to ensure effective execution of security programs and to foster strong relationships with site teams and stakeholders.

As a key leader in our clients global security operations, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with security policies, and optimizing security strategies across multiple locations. Your role will be critical in maintaining a secure and safe environment while delivering exceptional service that aligns with the overall customer experience.

Role & responsibilities

Leadership & People Management: Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Site Security Leads across multiple locations in India. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture, ensuring teams are aligned with the clients security standards and operational goals.

Security Operations Oversight: Manage day-to-day security operations, ensuring effective execution of security systems, timely completion of security-related tasks, and meeting operational milestones.

Compliance & Risk Management: Oversee compliance with security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements across all sites. Track and report on audit readiness, addressing any gaps proactively.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management and Health & Safety teams, as well as external vendors and partners. Collaborate across functions to address security challenges and drive solutions that align with business goals.

Strategic Security Planning: Contribute to the development of security strategies and programs. Continuously improve processes, procedures, and training to ensure the highest standards of security are maintained across the region.

Communication & Reporting: Maintain open and effective communication with the Regional Security Advisor (RSA) and senior leadership. Provide regular updates on security operations, key risks, and ongoing improvements.

Customer-Centric Approach: Ensure security solutions are tailored to meet the unique needs of each facility and client, providing proactive and effective responses to their objectives.

Travel Requirements: This position is to be based in Bangalore, with travel within India to visit and support security operations across multiple locations. You will be expected to ensure consistent service delivery and maintain oversight at all sites.

Continuous Improvement & Safety Integration: Promote a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to optimize security workflows. Work closely with Health & Safety stakeholders to integrate security and safety processes across all teams.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in Business, Management, or a related field, or 7+ years in corporate security, law enforcement, military, or similar fields.
• At least 05 years of managerial experience in security operations, service planning, or related areas.
• Preferred certifications: CPO, CPP, CSMP, PSP, or similar.
• Experience responding to security-related audits is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and solve complex problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Expertise in security management and knowledge of Security Operations Center (SOC) operations.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage high-stress situations.
• Customer-focused with a strong service delivery orientation.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with technology.
• Must be able to travel 25% of the time, including occasional international or short-notice trips.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during emergencies as needed.
• Physical & Mental Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Comfortable working in varying environments, including exposure to inclement weather.
• Must maintain 24/7 availability for security-related emergencies.
• Expertise in physical security operations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and travel regularly within India to support the team and ensure security standards are met across locations.
