Qualifications/ Experience:
- MBAs/ Graduates
- 8 to 10 years of overall experience with 5 or more years of relevant E-Com experience handling marketplaces
- Preferred from Fashion, Retail, Lifestyle industry with 3rd party portal management
Role & Responsibilities:
- Focus on the expansion and development of the brand's E-commerce marketplace presence to drive sales revenue, profit and ROI
- Work on prefixed JBP to freeze Activation Calendar, business plan for the year.
- Optimize marketplace performance: You will work closely with the marketing team to optimize marketplace performance. This will involve analysing performance data, developing marketing strategies, and implementing tactics to improve sales and revenue growth
- Merchandise planning, identifying category gaps, monitoring category/SKU level performance to improve conversion across the funnel
- Monitoring and improvising the financial hygiene, profitability and service the marketplace Ecommerce channel with increased order fulfilment rate and reduced lead time
- Pricing, discount planning & promotions planning basis seasonality, inventory levels & competition to achieve top & bottom line with margin improvements
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the marketplace, including inventory management, pricing, promotions, and product placement.
- Driving complete backend - Assortment Build Up, Catalogue quality, Inventory management, Payments and Financial Reconciliation
- Managing and improving inventory efficiency. Ensuring regional utilization and stock availability by timely replenishment; reducing surplus inventory.
- Managing relations with accounts, conducting negotiations on reducing cost of doing business
- Liaising with the marketing team to plan and execute marketing activities to promote and get traffic on key products, price points, categories, curations & offers.
- Handling customer's queries/concerns and providing timely assistance. Gathering insights on customer's shopping experience and taking measures to better merchandise quality and the experience
- Annual planning, TOT budgeting, JBP and Activation for Ecommerce marketplace accounts
- TOT negotiation with new accounts to create a win-win deal.
- Manage a team of marketplace specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
Preferred Candidate Profile/ Competencies:
- Strong understanding of marketplace economics, pricing strategies and supply chain dynamics
- Proven experience of handling business size of 50 CR or more
- Highly motivated and proactive professional who consistently takes initiative, seeks out new opportunities, and drives business growth.
- A team player with proven ability to collaborate with functional and cross functional teams, share ideas, and work towards common goals.
- Strong communication skills, agility and commitment to drive success for the entire team.
