Responsibilities:
P&L ownership: Drive and ensure achievement of the targeted sales numbers of the category. Ensure Profitability by negotiating the best category margins, securing marketing support from brands and focused on delivering the budgeted top-line and bottom-line.
Business Development: Ensure that the best of brands are available on the platform, sign up missing brands in the portfolio. Identify opportunities and trends in market and highlight them internally.
Assortment planning: Ensure we have a competitive catalogue compared to other players across brands and sub-
categories. Work with the Catalogue team to represent the category in best way possible.
Customer Experience: Anticipate and create solutions for customer pain points. Should be able to resolve customer escalation and deliver on the expected NPS for the category. Also, look at minimizing returns and cancellations in the category.
Category marketing: Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly calendars based on the events planned in Mall. Have joint marketing plans signed off with partner brands, execute the plan in coordination with the internal team (Site Merchandising and Marketing Team)
Operational efficiency: Work with cross-functional teams like CS, Logistics, Omni-channel, Finance to ensure a smooth functioning system and to be able to deliver on the required set of parameters measured across each function
Qualifications :
- Graduate from NIFT / MBA from Tier 1/2 college.
- 5+ years of experience in the e-commerce industry handling category.
- Management roles for Accessories (Preferably Handbags and Luggage).
- Strong at data-driven decision making.
- Skilled in working on projects with multiple stakeholders.
