Painter

The Painter is responsible for applying a high-quality 3-coat epoxy system using pneumatic spray machines. This role requires precision in paint application, ensuring even coverage and strict adherence to project specifications. The Painter contributes to the durability and quality of industrial coatings, maintaining high standards of performance and safety.

Responsibilities:

Painting Application

• Apply a 3-coat epoxy system on designated surfaces using pneumatic spray machines.
• Ensure even coverage, correct thickness, and adherence to specified project standards.
• Inspect painted surfaces for quality, making adjustments as needed to meet coating specifications.

Equipment Handling

• Operate and maintain pneumatic spray machines and related painting equipment.
• Conduct regular checks and basic maintenance to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.

Safety and Compliance

• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines for handling and disposing of paints and materials.
• Participate in safety briefings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of painting activities, including application details and quality checks.
• Document and report any issues related to paint quality or equipment functionality.
• Assist in generating reports for quality control and compliance review as required.

Education:

Diploma in a related field OR

Experience:

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in industrial painting, specifically with epoxy systems.

Quality and Efficiency

• Rework: Number of times a surface needs to be repainted. 
• Paint Waste: Amount of paint wasted during the process. 
• Project Completion Time: Time taken to complete a specific painting project. 

Safety

• Accidents: Number of accidents or injuries. 
• Safety Violations: Number of times safety rules are broken. 

Documentation and Reporting

• Incomplete Records: Number of incomplete or inaccurate records.
