6G Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our Fireline Pipeline Replacement Project at the Thilafushi Industrial Complex. The Welder will be responsible for joining metals together using various welding techniques and tools, as well as preparing and finishing welded structures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding in the 6G position.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions.
• Adjust settings on welding machines to accommodate different material types and thicknesses.
• Identify and address welding defects.
• Communicate effectively with fabricators to ensure optimal work output.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas to promote a safe and efficient workspace.
• Follow instructions from supervisors to contribute effectively to team activities.
• Adhere to all workplace safety practices and protocols.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a safe work environment.
• Report any safety concerns promptly to supervisors.

Qualifications:

• NDT/Welding Level 2 Certifications. (Preferred 6G Welding Certification.)
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Welder.
• Proficient in welding a variety of materials.
