Job Title: Zonal Sales Head

Location: Based on Requirement

Role Overview
As a Zonal Sales Head, you will oversee sales operations across multiple cities within your zone, leading a team of 8-10 Area Sales Managers (ASMs). This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, scaling operations, and establishing VidyutTechs leadership in the EV market. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong business acumen, exceptional team management skills, and a customer-first approach.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of ASMs to achieve ambitious sales targets and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Provide strategic direction and actionable insights to enhance team capabilities and performance.
  • Create a collaborative environment where team members are motivated to innovate, raise the bar, and excel.

Sales Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement zonal sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Monitor key sales metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Drive adoption of VidyutTechs innovative solutions, including BaaS, Kavach, and resale models, using a push sales approach.

P&L Ownership & Business Strategy

  • Take end-to-end ownership of the zones P&L, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Balance strategic thinking (zoom out) with operational execution (zoom in) to drive sustainable growth.
  • Make data-driven decisions to optimize resource allocation, sales strategies, and market performance.

Dealer & Partner Engagement

  • Build and nurture relationships with dealers and channel partners to enhance market presence and penetration.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to partners, driving alignment with VidyutTechs mission and solutions.

Operational Excellence

  • Deep dive into operational challenges to identify root causes and implement scalable solutions.
  • Uphold a "Do the Right Thing" approach, ensuring ethical business practices and customer-first decisions.

Cultural & Strategic Leadership

  • Exemplify VidyutTechs core values:

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing multi-tiered sales teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering ambitious sales targets and managing P&L responsibilities.
  • Expertise in sales metrics, data analysis, and driving data-informed decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership and coaching skills with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Experience in push sales and new market solutions is a plus, preferably in EV, mobility, or innovative subscription models.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
