Job Description
As a Software Development Engineer specializing in Java and Spring Boot, you will play a pivotal role in our technical team. You will leverage your expertise to extract, transform, and analyze financial data and EV data from diverse sources. Your responsibilities will include developing scalable backend solutions, ensuring code quality, and contributing to team discussions to drive optimized technical solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge fintech and EV technology projects and make a significant impact on our companys success.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Passionately design and architect backend solutions to address scalability and performance challenges.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Java (version 8 or newer) and Spring Boot framework.
- Collaborate closely with team members to understand requirements, brainstorm ideas, and develop optimized solutions.
- Independently debug backend issues and drive solutions with minimal oversight.
- Actively participate in technical discussions, contribute ideas, and effectively communicate concepts to peers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in Java development, specifically with Spring Boot and Hibernate frameworks.
- Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs, and working with JSON data.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases like MySQL and document storage solutions (e.g., AWS S3).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems, particularly GIT.
- Basic understanding of backend-related concepts such as HTTPS, CORS, AJAX, DNS, etc.
