Career Development and Placement Office

Key Responsibilities:

• Career Counselling: Provide career guidance to students, helping them identify career goals, craft resumes, prepare for interviews, and secure internships and job placements.
• Placement Activities: Coordinate and facilitate placement drive for students, including pre-placement talks, interviews, and recruitment events
• Industry Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, industry leaders, and potential employers to create placement opportunities for students.
• Workshops and Training: Organize and conduct workshops, seminars, and training sessions on career development, soft skills, interview preparation, and industry trends.
• Tracking and Reporting: Maintain and update records of student placement status, track placement statistics, and generate reports for management.
• Employer Branding: Assist in creating promotional materials for the CDP office, including reports, presentations, and social media updates to enhance the university's reputation among employers.
• Networking: Build a network of alumni and industry professionals to facilitate connections and provide valuable opportunities to students.
• Collaboration with Faculty: Work closely with faculty members to understand student profiles and academic progress to tailor career opportunities that align with their strengths.

• Prior experience in the education or university setup.
• Familiarity with the local job market and employer expectations in Bengaluru.
• Passion for working with students and helping them achieve their career goals.
