PURPOSE OF THE JOB- This position is responsible for marketing of goods & services to achieve desired results as per departmental objective in the zone or area, he/she is responsible for. The role is also responsible for area administration, liaison, team development & brand building. He/she would be in charge of managing and directing business activities within a certain geographic zone or region.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Planning: Developing sales plans, budgets, and strategies to achieve revenue targets
• Execution: Implementing sales plans, monitoring sales and productivity, and ensuring policies and SOPs are followed
• Leadership: Leading sales teams, motivating and training staff, and developing the HR set-up
• Expansion: Developing strategies to expand existing markets and enter new areas
• Research: Conducting regular research on local customer trends and competitor activity
• Reporting: Submitting sales-related reports on a weekly or monthly basis
• Coordination: Coordinating with market communications, customer service, and marketing

TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED

• sales manager should have strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• They should also be results-oriented, able to work independently, and manage multiple tasks.

SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

• Bachelor's or masters degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
