Business Analyst

Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, gather and document requirements, and work with various stakeholders to deliver solutions that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions to streamline operations.
• Documentation: Create and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, use cases, user stories, and process flows.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment on goals and expectations.
• Solution Design & Implementation: Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and test business solutions based on gathered requirements.
• Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to make informed decisions and support business recommendations.
• Project Support: Participate in project management tasks, such as tracking project progress, assisting in project planning, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Support the testing process by reviewing test plans, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensuring the solution meets business requirements.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks and issues related to business processes and IT projects, and assist in mitigating them.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, methodologies, and best practices to suggest improvements to internal processes and systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: A bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or MBA related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Visio, etc.), data analysis tools, and software development processes.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and business problems, and design innovative solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and present findings.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to address business challenges.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail in identifying business needs and developing solutions.
• Project Management: Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Certifications: Certifications like CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) can be beneficial.
