Senior Experience Specialist

The Commercial Data & Analytics team is part of the Verizon Global Services (VGS) organization. As part of the team, you will be helping to create and deliver a comprehensive measurement and reporting approach for all of Verizon Consumer Groups.

In this role, you will interact with cross functional teams working throughout Verizon bringing new experiences to life for our Customers.

You will help in measurement, reporting for cross-functional teams as they plan, build and launch world-class experiences.

You will help translate raw data into actionable insights and better experiences for our customers. Your deep knowledge of measurement solutions will help to determine the best approaches for implementations that best meet business needs.

• Work with the digital analytics & marketing teams to decipher business analytics requirements and deliver implementations which meet those requirements.
• Implement and provide QA (Quality Assurance) for various marketing technology solutions, including but not limited to: Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Google Ads, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
• Translate business requirements to implementation specifications for developers on partner engineering teams. Collaborate with the partner engineering teams to deliver end-to-end, well-tested solutions.
• Understand the KPIs and metrics and help designing the requirements for the technical teams to follow the Analytics framework
• Design and maintain high level and low level documents
• Change configurations and often write javascript code in Adobe LaunchTag Management System (TMS) per business requirements.
• Effectively troubleshoot and analyze complex issues related to JavaScript tags and data discrepancies, identify possible solutions, and present recommendations & best practices.
• Write automated tests to ensure various Marketing and Analytics tags are firing as expected.
• Understand various privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, CPRA etc) and ensure tagging implementation is compliant.
• Maintain JIRA board for ongoing projects and tasks.

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Experience with JavaScript with confidence in reading, writing and troubleshooting java script.
• Experience in digital analytics implementation working with Tag Management Systems (TMS) such as Tealium iQ, Adobe Launch, or Google Tag Manager (GTM).
• Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud technologies: Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target.
• Strong troubleshooting experience using browser debugging tools (Chrome Dev Tools, Firebug, etc)
• Strong understanding of HTML & CSS
• Ability to quickly and efficiently search, understand, and apply technical documentation.
• Experience with modern frameworks like Ember/ React/ Angular is preferred but not required.
