Executive/ Sr.Executive/RM/PM- Purchase For Pharma Formulation Co.Pune

Role & responsibilities :

1.Procurement of Raw materials and Packing Materials:

• Identify and source the raw materials, packing materials required for pharmaceutical formulation.
• Collaborate with the production, QC team to determine material specification and order quantities.
• Purchase Management for all the input materials like RM, PM, Consumables, Engg Goods required for Finished Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Factory.

2. Supplier management and Negotiation :

• To ensure the supply and development of APIs / RM, PM, Eng. Goods, Excipients. (Indian / Imports).
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for raw and packaging materials, ensuring they meet quality, regulatory and price standards
• Negotiation with vendors for prices, terms and delivery schedules with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
• Keep updated on current market trends with competitors, suppliers, and maintain procurement pipelines with alternative.
• Maintaining supplier relationships and resolving any issues that may arise as & when.

3. Inventory Management:

• Monitoring stock level of raw materials and packing materials ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet production needs without overstocking.
• Coordination with Warehouse team to ensure timely delivery and proper storage of Materials

4. Quality compliance and regulatory requirements:

• Ensure all raw materials and packaging materials comply with the necessary regularly standards (Eg. WHO, GMP ,FDA) and all other relevant agencies.
• Work with Quality Assurance team to ensure material meets all specification and quality standards before procurement.

5. Purchase Order and Documentations

• Prepare and issue purchase order for raw and packaging materials , ensuring accuracy in terms of quantity and delivery schedules

6. Cost control and Budget Management:

• Monitor and control the procurement cost of raw and packaging material to ensure purchases are made within budget
• Preparing and tracking purchasing reports and budgets.

7. Collaboration and reporting

Collaborate with all cross- functional teams including production, Quality control and logistics to ensure timely material availability

Knowledge Required:

• 4-6 Years of relevant experience in procurement preferably in Pharmaceutical, manufacturing or related industry
• In depth knowledge of pharmaceutical raw materials and packaging materials with the focus on regulatory compliance.
