About the role

Production Engineer in PCB Assembly will be responsible for handling the production activities after the RD department readies it for production and closely coordinating with purchase team to procure the products in BoMs. The Production Engineer in PCB Assembly is essential for managing the day-to-day operations of the SMT Wave soldering process, ensuring that quality standards are met, and optimizing production efficiency. They must collaborate with various teams, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the PCB assembly environment.

Job Description :

• Manage daily PCB assembly operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in SMT, through-hole, and manual soldering processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address production bottlenecks.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in production.
• Support the introduction of new products by developing assembly workflows.

Required Skills:

1.Need someone with 3-5 Years and someone having more Relevant Knowledge of Electronics.

2.Strong knowledge of PCB assembly processes, equipment, and industry standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-2221, etc.).

3.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.

4.Familiarity with production management and quality control software, as well as CAD tools for PCB design

5.Should have a knowledge of Electronics Components-Resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, inductors.

6.Circuit diagram reading and understanding. Identifying sections on PCB visually, referring to the components used:

a. Power supply section

b. Low voltage component areas

c. Controllers

d. Input, Output.

7.Should have a knowledge of How to read component value, ratings.

8.Should have a knowledge of Orientation of component and its importance.

9.Technical knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes, testing panels, testing equipment and instruments.

10.Should have a knowledge of Soldering quality checking.

11.Should have a knowledge of Component, Package and Types.
