Solar Project Estimator ( Techno Commercial)

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Solar Project Estimator to join our team at Vamana Solar EPC. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for solar energy projects, ensuring competitive and profitable proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze project requirements and review technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for solar projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other resources.

Collaborate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate pricing.

Evaluate potential project risks and account for contingencies in the estimates.

Provide pricing for variations and updates to existing projects as needed.

Work closely with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing for project components.

Prepare and present comprehensive bid proposals to stakeholders.

Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and advancements in solar technology.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in solar project estimation or cost engineering.

Strong understanding of solar PV systems and components.

Proficiency in estimation software/tools and MS Excel.

Excellent analytical and organizational.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Familiarity with industry standards and regulations in solar energy projects.
