Senior Executive - Accounts Payable

Roles and Responsibilities -

• Processing of all freight expenses related invoices
• Invoice Verification (MIRO) for all Freight Vendor expenses.
• Review of Open Items in GRIR account and follow-up with concerned departments to ensure smooth closing of books at month-end.
• Ensure compliance with the Terms of the Agreement entered by the Company with vendors.
• Ensure statutory compliance relating to areas assigned (GST, TDS etc.)
• Monthly review of Vendor Ageing report
• Ensure compliance with SOP / DOP while processing the invoices.
• Vendor reconciliation on half yearly basis.
• Monthly preparation of GL reconciliations.
• Arranging payments of all vendors as per payment cycle.
• Month-end & Year-end closing of all expenses. Preparation of all audit schedules and appropriate accounting of prepaid expenses.
• Ensure payments to MSMED vendors are made within the expected timelines to ensure statutory compliance.
• Automation of processes and establishment of workflow within AP department
