Vertical Head -Gold Loan

The Vertical Head Gold Loans will oversee the development, management, and expansion of the Gold Loan portfolio across regions. This leadership role involves designing strategic plans, driving business growth, ensuring profitability, and maintaining a high-quality loan book. The role also emphasizes team management, customer satisfaction, and adherence to compliance and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to grow the Gold Loan portfolio.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the branch and channel network to reach untapped markets.
• Set and achieve targets for loan disbursals, profitability, and portfolio quality.
• Drive customer acquisition by enhancing outreach through marketing, partnerships, and digital platforms.
• Develop and manage relationships with channel partners, customers, and stakeholders.
• Innovate and launch competitive Gold Loan products to address customer needs.
• Ensure smooth branch-level operations, from gold appraisal to loan disbursal.
• Implement technology and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
• Monitor operational efficiency and cost control across branches.
• Monitor the Gold Loan book to ensure low delinquency rates and minimal Non-Performing Assets (NPAs).
• Work with the risk and credit teams to refine policies for gold appraisal, loan approvals, and collections.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk guidelines.
  Build, train, and mentor a high-performing team to achieve business objectives.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback for skill and career development.
• Foster a culture of customer focus and ethical business practices.
• Ensure all operations and processes comply with legal and regulatory norms.
• Regularly report on business performance, market trends, and portfolio quality to senior management.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in retail lending, with at least 5 years in Gold Loans.
• Proven track record of managing and scaling a Gold Loan business.
• Experience in leading large teams and achieving business targets.

• In-depth knowledge of the Gold Loan business, including market dynamics and customer behavior.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

Education:
