Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and ensure the accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee the consolidation of financial results for multiple entities, if applicable.
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, provide ongoing forecasting updates, and analyze variances between actuals and budgeted figures.
• Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures, ensuring compliance to safeguard company assets.
• Oversee the preparation and filing of all required tax returns, and ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulations.
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and leading initiatives to improve financial processes.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, providing insights into cost management, revenue enhancement, and financial efficiency.
